Kitten mills/farms are, like puppy farms, a problem in America and some parts of the UK. If you're looking for a new fuzzy friend, read up on our kitty article.
Kitty Finding Tips
1. Beware of breeders selling more than two breeds. 2. Visit the kitten more than once.
3. Note the kitten's living area. Is the kitten living with its siblings and mother in a happy, clean environment?
4. Don't agree for the breeder to meet you somewhere or deliver the kitten to your house.
5. The breeder should want to know about you and your lifestyle so they know the kitten is going to a good home.
6. Think before buying a kitten from a pet shop. Many get their kittens from kitten mills.
7. Don't buy a kitten because you feel sorry for it.
